Worship
Grace Lutheran Church uses the Evangelical Lutheran Worship as a basis for Sunday services. Grace celebrates Holy Communion each week with communion At the Rail on the first and third Sundays, and communion by Intinction on the second, fourth and fifth Sundays of the month. Grace invites all believers to join us in communion. We celebrate Thanksgiving for Baptism on the first Sunday of the month, and Confession and Forgiveness on each of the other Sundays. We profess our faith in the words of the Apostle’s Creed, and the Nicene Creed during festival times.
Our service is gospel oriented with the sermons usually based on the gospel reading for the day. Children are encouraged to come forward for a children’s message from the pastor, before the sermon is presented. Readings from the Old and New Testament are also part of the service, as well as a selected Psalm readings.
Jesus willingly gave his life so we may live. Whoever eats this bread-the bread of eternal life will live forever.
John 6:35, 41-51
